Selma's Vino Advice- Featuring Kirkland Malbec
Welcome to another week of working from home which also means drinking more wine! I started this blog because I’m usually the one selecting the bottle of wine to share with our friends and family. I realize that during this time, my friends may be left in the dark thinking which wines they should buy. So, if you find yourself thinking the same thing, this blog will help you find great wines at affordable prices.
I’m sure all of you may be going to Costco to stock up on food and supplies in the near future. Therefore, for the next wine recommendation, I want to share with you a bottle of wine I picked up at Costco for only $6.99. I absolutely love Malbec wines, especially from Argentina and I strongly believe that you can never go wrong with any Malbec wine produced there. So when I saw this bottle of wine, I decided to give it a try and I’m happy to report that it did not disappoint. This wine was so smooth and easy to drink, it did not last long!
I paired this Malbec wine with tacos simply because I wanted tacos and figured since it was so easy drinking it can go with any dish. This wine has notes of purple fruit with a long finish and is surprisingly quite good. The best part is that this wine is so affordable so you can open a bottle of wine any day of the week and not feel bad if you only have a glass or two. I did manage to save a glass to try the next day and it tasted just fine. So dear friends, do yourself a favor and pick up this bottle of wine next time you make a stop at Costco, you won’t regret it. Cheers!
